Welcome to the Sensible Music Ireland home page. You won't find any flashy web toys and moving things here, but hopefully you will find a simple fast and informative site that helps you find the gear you want, quickly and efficiently.

We are Ireland's leading recording and backline hire company, supplying equipment for live performance or recording sessions. We can provide anything from individual item hire up to full festival backline set-ups and complete analogue or digital recording systems for location work. One of our specialties is recording for orchestral and choral sessions, complete with full crewing and help with organizing the best location for your session.

Sensible is run by personnel who have many years of experience on the road, so we understand the need for reliable gear, delivery and service. These factors are central to the way we operate, and we feel, why we have such a respected client list, which includes a large percentage of Irish live venues and studios. Many well known artists such as The Corrs, Clannad, The Cranberries, Paul Brady, U2, Van Morrison are also regular clients.

On this page you can find information on products we supply. We have provided links to some of the relevant manufacturers for detailed information on products. If you have a specific enquiry, and would like us to send you information or if you want to arrange a demo, please let us know by e-mail, fax or phone and we will send information by return.

LOCATION RECORDING

This is a very active part of our business, and from the link above you can find some details of systems we can supply and some information about sessions already completed. We have provided recording equipment at live events for artists such as Aslan, Paul Brady, Radiohead, Hothouse Flowers, Garth Brooks, Daniel O'Donnell to name a few.

DATATECH

This is a simple searchable database of technicians working in the entertainment industry. (REMEMBER the more places your name is available the better). If you would like to register and have your contact information listed, just follow the relevant registration link from the DATATECH page.
